as I walked through
the places, you and I
had been together.
Remembered how
the trifling thoughts
ran through
our hearts and minds.
Missed how we
talked of everything else,
except what we
longed for, so much.
All I wanted today,
was you, near me,
snug in my arms
as close as you could be.
