Understanding Love

They say
love is..
Intensity of passions
revelation of
deep emotions!

I fell in love,
but
why my comprehension
is so vague?

After I tasted love
an emptiness
fills my heart!
The pain feels close,
it refuses to part!

Nothing remains
now within..
except a lingering pain
that you left
behind!

Still a question,
on my mind..
Is it true
that love is eternal
and nothing is
of its kind!!
I wonder
what love is
as my thoughts rebound
in and out
of love!!

Awaiting,
my heavy heart,
winds of change..
some honest confessions
to pacify my
betrayed faith and emotions!
