An attempt to bridge the gap after a long time again,
Between you and me… forgetting the pain!
The pain you caused to me long back...
And left me alone causing a huge setback..!
My emotions lie dead; I need to revive again,
Between you and me forgetting the pain!
How do I forget the terrible heartbreak…?
How can you assure now there will be no heartache?
How do I convince myself... this time its there to stay?
How do I be firm that time you will not go astray?
The deep roots of trust shattered in the past…
How do I revive it now as I still doubt if it can last!!
How can I ask the waves of time to return…!
How do I accept you though for you I yearn!!
So many questions in mind, but answers for none…
No desire left to bridge the gap and settle again as one!!
