Maybe it was never what it seemed to be…
Maybe you were not the one for me!
Maybe our meeting was just an accident…
And the romance; a co incidence!
Maybe the love I felt was far too less
Maybe the care lacked on my part!
Maybe God brought us together…
Just to break my heart!
Maybe my destiny wasn’t supportive enough!
Maybe you weren’t prepared for such times so tough!
Maybe you weren’t the king to be close…
Maybe I didn’t realize what I chose!
Maybe the faith I had was too much.
Maybe it was wrong to think as such!
Maybe the expectations I set too high.
Maybe that’s why you left me with a lie.
Maybe life no more wants me to smile.
Maybe alone I have to tread each mile.
Maybe trust means nothing anymore anything any day…
Maybe I’ll stay in this way!
Maybe God forgot to create my soul mate…
Maybe he forgot to put happiness in my fate!
Maybe he forgot I also need a smile…
Maybe it never occurred to him for a while!
“Maybe” is the word all I have in life…
With “maybe” I will have to survive!
